Especially easy delicious ones like this. And if you love take out Chinese food this version of Orange Chicken is so much healthier for you and a cinch to put together! Serve over rice, pair it with some steamed broccoli and scrumptious crab rangoon and you will be in take out heaven … but without even having to leave the house!

Mamas, its slow cooker recipes like this that make eating at home doable during those crazy busy mama moments! And give you time back that you would otherwise spend in the kitchen around the dinner table with your sweet family, creating memories where you desire it the most!

Ok back to the 3 Ingredient Slow Cooker Orange Chicken – oh my YUM!

Here is how I did it:

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Chicken breasts (cubed) – you will notice in my pictures is it more shredded it is because I put my chicken breasts in frozen and whole. So you certainly do not have to cut up the chicken you can shred it too! No matter the shape of the chicken you decide, its delicious either way!
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce 
  • 1 cup Orange Marmalade 
  • 1-2 tsp soy sauce (optional)

Directions

  • Cut up chicken into cubes and put in slow cooker/crock pot. Mix together ingredients and pour over chicken.   Cook low:6-8 hours or on High 2-3 hours. (cooking times may vary with your slow cooker)

I love my Beautiful slow cooker, but it is sold out everywhere so I have one here for you that is also an 8 quart size for those mamas who have a big family like me HERE not to mention, it is digital which is so helpful for a busy household of people coming and going. Set the temp, cook time and leave the rest to the slow cooker. And by the time you get home you will have a warm home cooked meal waiting for you and your family!

Oh and don't mind my fancy dishes 😉 Its real life here mama's…sometimes I use real dishes and sometimes its paper plates just like this – the point is- having a warm meal with my family! So on occasion, or more often than not bust out those paper plates and don't you dare feel mama guilt about it!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 3-4 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup Orange Marmalade
  • 1-2 tsp low sodium soy sauce

Instructions
 

  • 2-3 Chicken Breasts cubed up
  • place cubed chicken on bottom of slow cooker
  • pour 1 cup of BBQ Sauce on top of chicken
  • next add one cup of Orange Marmalade
  • then add 1-2 tsp soy sauce to the top
  • *you can mix all ingredients together before pouring on chicken however I love the less mess (no dishes) method of just pouring it all on top of chicken in slow cooker
  • cook on low – do not remove lid- for 6 hours (or on high 3 hours)
  • Serve over rice and enjoy!
