Summer time equals salads, and this Broccoli Cauliflower Salad you will want to serve on the official kick off of summer time for Memorial Day weekend!

For those of you who love longer how to videos, this one I prepared live with some of you and decided to link it below for you to be part of the salad making process.

Doesn't this Broccoli Cauliflower Salad look amazing?

Its just the family tonight so I thought I would make it super simple to make and serve in the same bowl, however if you want to elevate your serving bowl, I LOVE this salad bowl its absolutely gorgeous with any salad in it.

Ingredients: Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

  • 1 head broccoli chopped
  • 1 head cauliflower chopped
  • 1/2 cup red onion chopped
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 8 pieces bacon cooked and chopped
  • 1 cup cole slaw dressing

Instructions: Broccoli Cauliflower Salad

  • On a cutting board prepare and cut broccoli and cauliflower
  • cook 8 pieces of bacon – I use the microwave tray its quicker but you can pan fry – BACON TRAY IS LINKED HERE!
  • shred 1 cup of cheddar cheese – I love to shred my own cheese and this SHREDDER LINKED HERE IS MY FAVORITE!
  • In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients together
  • Then add a cup of creamy cole slaw dressing – I like Kraft but you can make your own or use any kind you desire.
  • Place the lid on bowl once you mix well and let set up in fridge for a few hours then serve.
