BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: Failing Forward Is Back! A New Chapter, a New Partnership, and a Whole Lot of Faith!

Sometimes God opens doors you never even knew to knock on.

Podcast Failing Forward

Friends, I have been holding on to some pretty BIG news, and I can finally share it with you!

If you had told me a few years ago that I would be sitting here announcing a new chapter of my podcast, partnering with a national media network, and stepping into opportunities I never could have imagined, I probably would have laughed and said, “Are you sure you’ve got the right girl?”

But isn’t that just like God?

He has a way of taking the most unexpected circumstances, the hardest seasons, and even the moments when we feel completely lost, and somehow using them to create something beautiful.

And today, I am so incredibly excited to announce that Failing Forward with Lori Conway is officially making its return, and I’ve joined forces with JTN to bring this podcast to an even bigger audience!

Yes, you read that right!

We’re taking Failing Forward into a brand-new chapter, and I couldn’t be more grateful, excited, and, if I’m being completely transparent, a little nervous.

But I’ve learned that sometimes the biggest blessings are waiting just outside our comfort zones.

And this is one of those moments.

Why Failing Forward? Why Now?

If you’ve followed me for any length of time, you know that my life has been anything but a straight line.

For years, I’ve shared recipes, family moments, business adventures, and the beautiful chaos of raising four children through Crazy Busy Mama.

My heart has always been about bringing families back around the table, finding joy in the everyday moments, and reminding other busy mamas that they don’t have to have everything figured out.

But somewhere along the way, life changed.

And I mean REALLY changed.

On April 9, 2024, I unexpectedly lost my husband, Quintin.

The man I had built a life with. The father of our four beautiful children. My partner in all the adventures, dreams, and ordinary moments that suddenly became extraordinary memories.

In an instant, the life I knew was gone.

And with it came a season of grief, uncertainty, questions, and learning how to live a life I never imagined having to navigate.

Then, two years later, on that very same date, April 9, 2026, I lost my precious mama.

Another goodbye. Another heartbreak. Another chapter I never would have chosen.

There have been moments when I’ve wondered how much one heart could possibly hold.

But through it all, God has continued to show up.

Not always in the ways I expected.

Not always on the timeline I would have chosen.

But always faithfully.

And somewhere in the middle of the heartbreak, healing, and learning to live again, I realized something.

Failing forward isn’t about never falling down. It’s about choosing to get back up, even when life looks nothing like you planned.

What Failing Forward Really Means to Me

I’ve been an entrepreneur for much of my adult life.

I’ve built businesses, taken risks, celebrated incredible successes, and experienced plenty of failures along the way.

And one thing I’ve learned is that failure isn’t necessarily the opposite of success.

Sometimes it’s the very thing that leads us there.

But today, Failing Forward means something even deeper to me than business or entrepreneurship.

It’s about life.

It’s about the mom who feels like she’s failing her children because she can’t do it all.

It’s about the woman walking through grief who wonders whether she’ll ever feel joy again.

It’s about the person starting over after a divorce, a job loss, a broken relationship, or an unexpected diagnosis.

It’s about the dreamer who feels like life has passed them by.

And it’s about those of us who have discovered that sometimes the greatest growth happens in the seasons we never would have chosen.

I’ve had to learn that moving forward doesn’t mean forgetting where you’ve been.

Finding happiness again doesn’t erase the love you had before.

And choosing joy doesn’t mean the hard things suddenly disappear.

It means learning to carry both.

Grief and gratitude.

Heartbreak and hope.

Memories of yesterday and excitement for tomorrow.

And friends, that is exactly the kind of conversation I want us to have on this podcast.

A New Partnership and an Unexpected Opportunity

One of the most exciting parts of this announcement is my new partnership with JTN.

Through this opportunity, I’ll be bringing Failing Forward to their network, allowing these conversations to reach people beyond the community we’ve already built together.

And that means so much to me.

Because while I absolutely love sharing recipes, shopping finds, family stories, and our everyday adventures, I’ve always believed there is a bigger purpose behind the platform God has entrusted to me.

If sharing one difficult chapter of my life helps another person feel less alone, then it’s worth sharing.

If one conversation encourages someone to keep going when they feel like giving up, then it’s worth having.

And if one person hears something that reminds them God hasn’t forgotten about them, then every bit of this journey has been worth it.

I’m grateful for the team at JTN for believing in this vision and helping bring it to life.

This is an opportunity I don’t take lightly.

And while the platform may be growing, my heart behind it isn’t changing.

You’re still getting me.

The same Lori who shows up with her coffee mug, probably has a million things going on, occasionally gets emotional, laughs at herself, and believes with her whole heart that God is still writing beautiful stories.

What Can You Expect From the Podcast?

First and foremost, REAL conversations.

Not perfectly polished lives.

Not people pretending they’ve figured everything out.

And definitely not conversations that make you feel like you’re the only one struggling.

I want Failing Forward to be a place where we can talk honestly about the things that matter.

We’ll dive into faith, family, motherhood, marriage, relationships, entrepreneurship, grief, healing, personal growth, and the unexpected challenges life throws our way.

Some weeks, it may just be you and me having a heart-to-heart.

Other weeks, I’ll invite special guests to share their experiences, lessons, struggles, and stories of overcoming adversity.

We’ll celebrate victories, learn from setbacks, and hopefully laugh a little along the way.

Because life is hard enough without taking ourselves too seriously!

And something I’m especially excited about?

Our Failing Forward Challenge of the Week!

At the end of each episode, I want to leave you with something practical.

One small challenge.

One intentional step.

One opportunity to take what we’ve talked about and apply it to your own life.

Maybe it’s reaching out to someone you’ve been meaning to call.

Maybe it’s finally taking that first step toward a dream you’ve put on hold.

Maybe it’s choosing gratitude when your circumstances feel overwhelming.

Or maybe it’s simply giving yourself permission to begin again.

Because sometimes one small step forward can change everything.

To My Crazy Busy Mama Community: Thank You

Before I wrap this up, I want to say something from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you.

You’ve followed along through so many chapters of my life.

You’ve watched my babies grow up.

You’ve cooked my recipes, shared my videos, laughed at our family shenanigans, and supported the businesses I’ve poured my heart into.

And when life turned upside down, you showed up for me in ways I will never forget.

You prayed for me.

You encouraged me.

You shared your own stories of loss, love, and learning to live again.

And somewhere along the way, this community became so much more than a place to find easy dinner recipes.

It became a place of connection.

A place where we remind one another that even on the hardest days, we’re not walking alone.

So when I think about launching this next chapter, I don’t just think about a podcast.

I think about all of YOU.

And I hope you’ll come along for this adventure.

The Best Is Still Ahead

One thing I’ve learned over these past few years is that life can change in a moment.

We aren’t promised tomorrow.

We aren’t guaranteed that everything will go according to plan.

And we certainly don’t get to choose every chapter of our story.

But we do get to choose how we respond.

We can allow the hard seasons to convince us our story is over.

Or we can trust that God isn’t finished writing it.

I don’t know everything this next chapter will hold.

But I know the One who does.

And I’m choosing to walk through this open door with faith, gratitude, and an expectant heart.

So here’s to new beginnings.

Here’s to taking chances.

Here’s to choosing joy even after heartbreak.

And here’s to discovering that sometimes the most beautiful chapters come after the ones we thought would break us.

We’re not looking backward, friends. We’re Failing Forward!

I hope you’ll download the JTN app, join me every Tuesday at 5 AM Central, and be part of this next adventure.

And I have one more question for you!

What topics would YOU love for us to talk about on Failing Forward?

Leave me a comment below. I genuinely want to hear from you, because some of the most meaningful conversations begin with the stories we’re brave enough to share.

Love you all, and thank you for being part of this journey.

XO,

Lori
