Okay, busy mamas, THIS is the kind of dinner we need more of! 🙌🏼
It's cheesy, creamy, filling, ridiculously easy to throw together AND budget-friendly. This Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole takes refrigerated biscuits, tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, and plenty of mozzarella cheese and turns them into one cozy casserole the whole family can dig into.
And can we talk about the PRICE?!
I priced this Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole at just $14.37 using two rotisserie chickens—and if you only need one rotisserie chicken, you're looking at around $10.40 to make it! 🤯
Now THAT is a Crazy Busy Mama dinner.

How to Make Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole
How to make Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole: a step-by-step guide
Step 1: Prepare the Biscuits
Preheat your oven to 350°F.
Cut the refrigerated biscuits into smaller bite-size pieces.
Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the biscuit pieces across the bottom.
You can also alternate layers of biscuits and chicken throughout the casserole. Either way works!
Step 2: Add the Chicken
Spread your cooked, shredded chicken over the biscuit pieces.
This is where that rotisserie chicken shortcut comes in handy. No extra skillet, no cooking chicken from scratch, and WAY less prep!
Step 3: Bring on the Alfredo
Pour the entire jar of Alfredo sauce evenly over the chicken and biscuits.
Try to distribute the sauce across the entire casserole so you get that creamy Alfredo flavor in every scoop.
Step 4: Make It Cheesy
Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the top.
Finish with Italian seasoning for a little extra flavor.
Because if we're making a Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole, we're not going light on the cheese. 😂
Step 5: Bake
Bake your casserole at 350°F for approximately 30 minutes, or until the biscuits are completely cooked through and golden brown and the cheese is hot and bubbly.
Before serving, check the biscuit pieces in the center of the casserole to make sure they're fully baked.
Top with Parmesan cheese and serve warm!
Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole: SIDE IDEA
A Budget-Friendly Dinner for Busy Families
One of the reasons I love this Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole is that it proves family dinner doesn't have to be expensive OR complicated.
You don't need fancy ingredients to make something your family gets excited about.
Add a bagged salad, steamed broccoli, or green beans on the side and you've got a complete dinner without spending all evening cooking.
And those shortcuts?
TAKE THEM.
Using rotisserie chicken and jarred Alfredo doesn't make dinner any less meaningful. It simply gives us more time for the people sitting around the table.
Make It Extra Cute for Fall
And can we talk about the baking dish for a second?! One of my favorite ways to make even the easiest fall recipe feel a little more special is using a cute seasonal baking dish. 🍂 This Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Brownies recipe is already perfect for fall, but baking and serving it in a festive dish makes it even cuter for Thanksgiving, Friendsgiving, fall parties, or just a cozy night at home.
I love a dish that can go straight from the oven to the table because—hello—one less thing to wash! Plus, it instantly makes your dessert table feel a little more festive without doing any extra work.
When making Chicken Alfredo Biscuit Casserole, cut your biscuits into smaller, similar-sized pieces rather than leaving them whole. The smaller pieces help the biscuits cook more evenly underneath all that chicken, Alfredo sauce, and cheese. Before pulling your casserole from the oven, check a biscuit piece near the center. If it still looks doughy, loosely cover the top with foil to keep the cheese from getting too brown and give the casserole a few more minutes to bake.
