The thing I love about charcuterie boards is you can make them with a variety or sweet and salty treats it will no doubt be a pleasure for all. Your guests will love it and be so impressed especially when you try these fun ways to display your charcuterie meat like Salami Roses here. They are so easy to put together you can even do the night before and store them in the fridge and take them out when you are ready to build that charcuterie board.

Your ingredients will vary depending on your favorites. But here is an idea of what you will need.

Ingredients for Valentine's Day Charcuterie

  • 2 lbs salami
  • 2 lbs pepperoni
  • 2 lbs proscutto
  • 3 lbs cheese use variety
  • 30 oz crackers use variety
  • fruit optional
  • candies optional – use holiday theme

  • Create roses, bouquets, accordion or chain meats with charcuterie meats- you can find full tutorial “Salami Rose-How to for Charcuterie Board” here in blog
  • If you did these the night before you can get them out of fridge otherwise make how ever many you desire and set aside
  • Grab a small or variety of boards
  • and start building with the meats first
  • then add cheeses
  • and crackers and then any candies or fruit ( I like to also display them in cute ramekins) you decide to put on the board

The thing I love about charcuterie boards is all the possibilites. There is no right or wrong way to build one. Just get creative and if you are doing a theme one like the one shown Valentine's Day Charcuterie here, you will want to add seasonal touches like candy and dishes like ramekins to hold them.
