Thought it would be appropriate to insert a picture of me with all the snack foods in my pantry that are going to waste. Us Crazy Busy Mamas don't need that, so I am going to show you how to turn the potentially wasted food into a new fun Valentine's Day snack idea for your kids!

And turn it into this amazing Valentine's Day Snack Idea! Looks amazing right?

Cupid Mix- Valentine's Day Mix

Ingredients:

1 Cup of pretzels

1 Cup of Cheerios

1 Cup of Rice Checks

(Or really anything… just get creative)

1 cup of M&M's – you will want to use the Valentine's Day ones they make it super cute and give it that Valentine's Day flair!

11 oz White chocolate chips with shortening melted (or melting chips) ) I love to use Ghirardelli

Directions:

Take all your dry ingredients and mix them together

In a microwaveable bowl, Take the chips or melting wafers and heat up in 20-30 second increments and mix so you don’t burn it. This happens so quick so make sure to stay by microwave and use half power.

Pour mixed dry ingredients over the top of a sheet pan like THIS (truly my favorite Sheet pan set for all things sheet pan cooking) lined with parchment paper. I love these sheets HERE

Once chocolate is ready take it and pour over the top of the dry ingredients- mix together a bit with a spatula.

Place in freezer for 5-10 minutes for snack mix to set up.

Break apart and enjoy!

CBM TIP:Add a teaspoon of shortening or coconut oil to the chocolate chips to help melt easier.
