You will love this 4 ingredient Cheeseburger Casserole. It's the perfect Crazy Busy Mama Meal! Its so simple to throw together on those crazy busy week nights and one your kids will be begging for over and over again. Having a meal your kids will devour and beg for again and again is an absolute dream for a mama especially when it is easy to throw together! Not to mention, it is super budget friendly! With grocery prices sky rocketing like they have been, we could all use some more budget friendly meals in our rotation. And we managed to have leftovers which was great for my son to bring for lunch the following day. Now that is some amazing savings right there, two meals in one a total bonus!

Ok, here is how I put together this scrumptious Cheeseburger Casserole.

Ingredients: Cheeseburger Casserole

  • 1 ground beef
  • 21 oz tomato soup
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 16 oz pasta shells

*you can season ground beef when cooking with salt and pepper or garlic if you would like. I just did pepper to taste in skillet.

Instructions: Cheeseburger Casserole

  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Bring water to a boil in a large pot
  • In a large skillet over medium high heat, brown ground beef seasoning with pepper or garlic or seasoning of choice.

Brown until fully cooked.

The paper towel hack is handy for soaking up grease in pan and then easily disposing. If you haven't tried it, you will thank yourself. So easy!

  • Add tomato soup to skillet with ground beef on low heat
  • Once pasta is cooked strain and add to skillet with the ground beef and add half the cheese to the skillet and combine well add about 1/2 can of water to keep moist. (about 1/2 cup)

You will definitely want to make sure you are using a deep skillet to hold all ingredients. This 5.5 Qt skillet is my FAVORITE for all one pot skillet meals – LINKED HERE!

  • Grease a 9×13 dish and pour in all combined ingredients from skillet to the 9X13 oven safe dish
  • Use remaining shredded cheese to the top of dish

  • Cover and Bake for 20 mins at 375
  • After 20 mins, uncover and cook for another 5-7 mins until golden

You can even add fresh or dried parsley to give it a bit more color!

Serve with a side of steamed broccoli and you have yourself an easy scrumptious meal!

Side Idea

Usually serve ours up with steamed broccoli, however you can make it even easier with a pre chopped bag salad.

Next time you buy your ground beef in bulk, when you get home brown up a few pounds in one pound portions label in airtight freezer safe bags and freeze up to 3-4 months to use on a busy weeknight.

If you want to increase your protein you can add a pound and a half of ground beef. I did this in the video, but a pound works just fine too.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ground beef
