Ok mama, here is how I put this scrumptious Slow Cooker Pasta Con Broccoli together!
Ingredients: Slow Cooker Pasta Con Broccoli
1 1/2 lb chicken breast
1 1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Italian Seasoning
24 oz marinara
8 oz cream cheese
2 cups broccoli
8 oz mushrooms
1 1/2 cups parmesan cheese freshly grated
16 oz penne pasta
Instructions: Slow Cooker Pasta Con Broccoli
In slow cooker place chicken
with seasoning…
sauce and cream cheese for 4-6 hours on low.
Shred check with meat chopper ot take out and do with fork
This little MEAT MASHER helps to shred up cooked chicken and also brown up ground beef in the skillet! I have several of them in my kitchen, I literally don't know how I made it without one! You can snag one HERE , trust me it is a game changer when it comes to breaking apart and cooking meat! Love it!
Meanwhile, bring a pot to a rolling boil and cook 16 oz of Penne pasta until done
Add cooker penne pasta to the slow cooker and combine all noodles with sauce
and once combined add steamed broccoli. I just use the frozen bagged for convenience. But you can certainly steam your own fresh on stove top.
Then add mushrooms.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and then cover with freshly grated Parmesan cheese mix and serve!
Now here it is ready to serve up!
