Who doesn’t love an easy 30 mins or less skillet meal? Especially one your kids gobble right up! Well, if you answered yes to those, you will want to make this one and save it!
These sausage links are always great to have on hand for quick easy & delicious meals. They come in a big variety too. Any of these will work in this recipe. Some times I use Andouille and sometimes smoked sausage, both equally as good.
Here is how I did it:
One Pot Smoked Sausage Skillet Pasta
1 package Andouille sausage (or smoked sausage of any kind)
2 cloves Garlic
1 Tbsp onion powder
Brown up that sausage with seasonings until browned, then add
2 Tbsp of tomato paste
1 can of Rotel or tomatoes -undrained (Rotel will add heat so if you don’t want this with a bit of a kick then stick to a regular can of diced tomatoes)
2 1/2 cups Chicken broth- low or no sodium
16 oz Pasta (love the Radiatore)
1/2 cup Heavy Whipping cream
Bring to simmer & Cover on medium heat until pasta is cooked then add
1 cup Pepper jack cheese (or Monterey)
place lid back on for a few minutes for cheese to melt
•All in one skillet•
Here is where I got my favorite skillet HERE for all things skillet meals. It’s a 5 quart and I never have to question if there is enough room. It’s the best!
Enjoy!
