Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake Pops Directions:

Blend up desired amount of cakes. I love to use my KitchenAid to do this gives it a nice, smooth blend. If you don’t have one, it’s a little bit of investment however, they’re usually on sale this time of year and that’s when I got mine almost 20 years ago and it’s still working like a champ!

Once blended place on a sheet pan lined with wax paper for easy cleanup. Place cake balls in the freezer for an hour.

About five minutes prior to taking them out of the freezer. Go ahead and get your melting chocolates, melted and nice and smooth for dipping.

Then take each cake ball and puncture with a stick and dip into the melting chocolates until covered. I like to use a spoon to get the top of the cake ball.  Once covered in the chocolate, add back to your sheet pan, covered with wax paper and sprinkle on some festive sprinkles if you choose.

Little Smokies Christmas Wreath

I mean who doesn’t love Little Smokies? So why not make them in to a festive spread for…

Comments2

  1. 5 stars
I love fun and easy recipes. I can’t wait to try this. However, when it looked at the nutritional list is it really 2234 cal?

    1. Great catch… and I’m really glad you asked! 😊

That number does sound very high, and most likely that 2234 calories is for the entire recipe, not per serving. Sometimes nutrition calculators automatically give totals for the full dish unless it’s broken down.

Depending on the ingredients, a more realistic estimate is usually:

~300–600 calories per serving (give or take based on portions and swaps)

Things that can really change the calories:

Type of meat (beef vs turkey/chicken)
      Amount of cheese or sauces
      Serving size

If you want to be extra sure, you can divide that total by how many servings the recipe makes. For example:

      2234 ÷ 6 servings = ~372 calories per serving

And I promise, I always aim to keep recipes realistic for everyday life… easy, satisfying, and not crazy high unless it’s meant to be a treat.
