Valentine's Day snacks and foods for kids can be both delicious and simple, making them perfect for busy mamas. Heart-shaped fruit kabobs, strawberry yogurt parfaits, and heart-cut sandwiches are quick yet delightful options. A creative twist on classic snacks much like this one, like heart-shaped cookies or cupid's arrow pretzel rods, adds a festive touch without requiring much time. These easy treats allow moms to spread love in a tasty way while managing a hectic schedule. Its all about just getting creative! And this simple Valentine's Day snack does the trick and its delicious too!

So let’s get making this delicious Valentines Day treat!

I like to call these Heart Chewies, they are similar to a Rice Krispy treat and just as delicious! These Heart Chewies are not only perfect for a Valentine’s Day snack for your kids but for a Valentine’s Day party too!

You could even embellish with some cute candy hearts or fun Valentine’s Day sprinkles!  Get your kids involved in the kitchen with you and start creating some fun memories together that will last a lifetime!  I use a large heart cookie cutter like THIS and gets me 6-8 hearts depending how I cut. If you use a variety of heart shape sizes you could get more. So the serving size will depend on the size of the cookie cutter you use.

Ok here is how I did it:

Heart Flake Treats

Ingredients:

6 cups corn flakes

Stick of melted butter

16 oz bag of marshmallows

Add red food dye to get to desired color

Directions:

Mix butter and marshmallows in a sautee pan like THIS  – love this pan for one pan skillet meals too!

Then once melted add a little bit of red food dye until you get desired color.

Mix until combined and then add 6 cups of corn flakes about 1 cup at a time folding in each cup as you pour

Next grab a big sheet pan I love this set HERE – they are perfect for baking and sheet pan dinners! Put parchment paper down on sheet pan and then take an another sheet to push them down to flatten. I love these parchment paper sheets the portioned sizes make it so easy!

Take a big heart cookie cutter- again THIS is the one I like- and cut them out & enjoy!

Like I mentioned above, you can add sprinkles or festive candy to them to add even more of a Valentine’s Day flair!

Either way you decide to make them they will look so cute put together on a Valentine's Day spread!

Hope you have fun making these with your kids in the kitchen and creating some fun Valentine’s Day memories!!
