The Part I Didn’t Share: A Full Circle Moment with SoulFIT TV

There are some things you don’t share right away.

Not because you’re hiding them…

But because you’re still living them.

Still processing them.
Still finding the words for them.

And sometimes… you just know:

“This part isn’t ready yet.”

That’s how this SoulFIT TV segment feels to me.

Because while so many of you saw my first appearance—the recipes, the smiles, the simple encouragement around the table—there was another part of that day…

A quieter part.

A deeper part.

A part I’ve been holding onto until now.

And with this segment releasing Monday, it finally feels like the right time to share it.

What You Saw First

When my first SoulFIT TV segment aired, it felt like such a sweet moment.

Getting to cook.
Getting to share simple meals.
Getting to encourage families that it doesn’t have to be complicated to sit down together.

That message has always been at the heart of Crazy Busy Mama.

You can watch the last episode here!!

And here is a behind-the-scenes of that day here-

Because if there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this:

The table isn’t about perfection.

It’s about presence.

But what you saw in that first segment… was just one layer of the story

The Part I Wasn’t Ready to Say Yet

There was more on my heart that day.

A lot more.

But if I’m being honest… I wasn’t fully ready to say it out loud yet.

Grief has a way of doing that.

It slows things down.

It makes you feel things deeply… but sometimes leaves you searching for the right words.

And while I could show up and cook and smile and share practical tips…

Putting language to the deeper “why” behind everything?

That felt more vulnerable.

More tender.

More real than I knew how to fully express in that moment.

If You’re New Here…

If you’re newer to this space, or you’ve never heard the full story behind why I care so deeply about this mission, I’ve shared it more in depth in a couple of blogs:

👉 Q: Our Beloved Husband and Father
👉 Our Story: Reclaiming the Table and Building a Life That Matters

Those pieces will give you the fuller picture of what our family has walked through… and how Reclaim the Table became more than just an idea.

It became something we needed.

This Next Segment… Is That Missing Piece

This segment releasing Monday

It’s not something new.

It’s something deeper.

It’s the part of that day that I didn’t share right away.

The part where I opened up more.

The part where the mission behind everything finally had words.

The part where Reclaim the Table stopped being something I was explaining…

And became something I was living out loud.

How the Table Changed Everything

After losing Quintin, nothing about life felt the same.

Not our routines.
Not our home.
Not even the way time moved.

Everything shifted.

And in the middle of all of that…

The table became one of the only places that still felt steady.

Not because it was perfect.

But because it was consistent.

It was where we could come together… even when we didn’t have answers.

It was where my kids could talk.

Or not talk.

It was where we could cry, laugh, remember, pray… sometimes all in the same night.

And slowly, over time, I realized something:

We weren’t just sitting down for meals anymore.

We were holding onto connection.

Reclaim the Table Became Personal

Before all of this, the table was important to me.

Now?

It’s everything.

Because I’ve seen firsthand what happens when you choose to show up there—even when it’s hard.

Even when you don’t feel like it.

Even when life feels heavy.

That’s what Reclaim the Table really means.

It’s not about doing more.

It’s about being present with what’s already in front of you.

Why I Held This Part Close

I think sometimes we feel pressure to share everything all at once.

To have the full story ready.

To wrap things up neatly and present them in a way that makes sense.

But real life doesn’t work like that.

Healing doesn’t work like that.

And I’m learning that it’s okay to share things in layers.

It’s okay to hold certain parts close until you’re ready.

It’s okay to let God unfold your story over time.

And that’s exactly what this second segment feels like to me—

Not a continuation.

But a deeper reveal.

A Quiet Full Circle Moment

When I look back now, I can see it so clearly.

The same day that held lighthearted moments in the kitchen…
Also held space for something deeper that would come later.

The same message that started with recipes…
Was always meant to lead to something more meaningful.

The same table I was talking about…
Was already the place that had carried us through so much.

And maybe that’s what full circle really is.

Not a big, loud moment.

But a quiet realization that God was weaving it all together… even when you didn’t see it yet.

For the Mom Who’s Just Trying to Get Through the Day

If you’re in a season where life feels overwhelming…

Where grief, stress, or just the weight of everything feels like too much…

I want you to hear this gently:

You don’t have to do it all.

You don’t have to create something elaborate.

You don’t have to have the perfect plan.

Start small.

Sit down.

Be present.

Even if it’s messy.

Even if it’s quiet.

Even if it looks nothing like it used to.

Because those moments still matter.

More than you probably realize.

What I Hope You Take From This

As this SoulFIT TV segment releases, I don’t want it to just be something you watch and move on from.

I hope it stays with you.

I hope it shifts the way you see your table.

I hope it reminds you that connection doesn’t have to be complicated.

And I hope it gives you permission to show up exactly where you are.

If You Watch on Monday

If you tune in this week, I just want you to know… you’re not just watching another segment.

You’re seeing a piece of my heart that took a little more time to put into words. A piece that was there all along, but needed the right moment to be shared.

And I also just want to say how thankful I am for Micah and Dianna. The kindness they showed me that day, the way they encouraged me and made space for both the light and the heavy parts… it meant more than they probably even realize. Being surrounded by people who see you and support you in a season like that is something I’ll never take for granted.

If you take anything from this episode, I hope it’s this…

Your table doesn’t have to be perfect to be powerful.

It’s not about what’s on the plate. It’s not about having everything together. It’s about showing up anyway.

Because sometimes the most meaningful moments are the ones we almost overlook. The quiet ones, the ordinary ones, the ones that don’t feel like much at the time… but end up meaning everything.

So if you haven’t seen the first episode yet, I’d love for you to go back and watch it—it really is the beginning of this whole story:
👉HERE

And then make sure you tune in this week for the next part, the deeper part, the heart behind it all.

The episode will air LIVE on CTN at 6:30am & noon CST, or if you miss it live, the episode will be HERE on Soul Fit TV

And if you’re in a season of grief or just trying to find your footing again, I created my Rooted in Him Prayer Journal for you. It’s something I’ve leaned on in my own hardest days, and my prayer is that it meets you right where you are:
👉 Here

Because maybe, just maybe…

It’s not about everything going back to the way it was.

Maybe it’s about finding connection again, right where you are.

And maybe that starts with something as simple as sitting down at the table. 🤍
