I just love a traditional recipe with a patriotic twist for Memorial Day! This American Flag Bean Dip will not only be perfect for the upcoming Memorial Day cookouts, but will also work amazingly for 4th of July Celebrations and Labor Day too!

This is one everyone loves! And come to think of it would be perfectly served with Blue Tortilla chips! How festive would that be!

Ok, mamas here is how I put the American Flag Layered Bean Dip together.

Ingredients: American Flag Layered Bean Dip

  • 31 oz refried beans
  • 16 oz guacamole
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Monterey Jack cheese shredded
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 2 oz black olives sliced
  • 2 tbsp taco seasoning optional

Instructions: American Flag Layered Bean Dip

  • On the bottom of a 9X13 deep dish layer refried beans on bottom of dish. If you are mixing in taco seasoning you will want to mix the beans with the seasoning prior to layering on dish.
  • Then add guacomole to the top of the beans spreading out over the beans completely
  • Next layer is sour cream layer that on top of the guacamole
  • Then add to the top left side of the dish sliced olives in a row I did 6 across and 6 down to create the stars on the flag
  • Chop tomatoes and add 4 stripes leaving about 1 1/2 inches between
  • Shred Cheese and add between the tomatoes this will create the stripes for the flag.
  • Grab your favorite chips and serve

This will be a dip that will for sure bring a smile to your face! So easy and delicious, total Crazy Busy Mama WIN!
