I would love to know your favorite kind of Fall recipes in the comments at the bottom of this blog! Having a little feedback helps me know what you would like to see more of! So let me know, would you like to see more slow cooker? More desserts and treats? More one-pot? You tell me and I will get to sharing!
They say autumn is God’s way of showing us how beautiful change can be—and mama, I think we need that reminder more than anyone. 🍂 Because let’s be honest, change isn’t always easy.
Trust me, I know this well. In April of 2024, my husband and best friend and father of our 4 kids went to be with the Lord. If you are new to my blog, you can read about his passing here. It was completely unexpected and life hasn’t been the same since. Everyday I wish I could wake up from this nightmare. But I am taking refuge in the Lord, because I am HIS.

But even regular every day change isn’t always easy: our routines are full, our kids are growing way too fast, and half the time we’re running from one thing to the next with little room to catch our breath. But then fall shows up in all its glory—the leaves turn gold and red, the air gets crisp, and suddenly even the simplest things feel like a gift straight from Him.
For me, one of those gifts is the kitchen. That is why I made an entire Fall Cookbook that is perfect for Busy Mamas who want to embrace the fall season, even with the very little free time they have! Now don’t get me wrong—I’m not talking about whipping up some four-hour Pinterest masterpiece (ain’t nobody got time for that). I’m talking about meals that are simple, quick, and still make everyone at the table pause long enough to smile.

Intentional time around the table is one thing we prioritized as a family, I call it reclaiming the table. I have made it my mission to help other families do the same. Because you never know how much time you have left with those you love!
If you would like to hear the story of how this became such a priority for our family, I would love for you to read about it here. It took a while to write that story because it took a turn I did not want. But here we are, and here I am knowing the Lord has called me to help other families make dinner exactly what it is for us. Easy, stress free intentional time together.
This honey glazed apple chicken recipe does exactly that. It makes dinner with your family easy and stress free! You set it and forget it and come dinner time, you have a delicious dinner ready to go! It’s got that perfect fall mix of sweet and savory—juicy chicken, sticky honey glaze, and tender apples that taste like autumn on a plate.
And here’s the best part: this Slow Cooker Apple Chicken Recipe is weeknight-friendly. 🙌 You don’t need fancy ingredients or hours in the kitchen. You can pull this together in the middle of all the chaos—between homework help, soccer practice, and that endless laundry pile staring at you. And when you set it on the table, it feels like a little celebration of the season, a reminder that even in our busiest days, God gives us small, sweet moments to savor.
So mama, as the leaves fall and life keeps moving fast, let this recipe be a little pause button for your family. Gather them around, let the sweet aroma fill your kitchen, and remember—change doesn’t have to be scary. Sometimes it’s beautiful, sometimes it’s delicious, and sometimes, it’s exactly what we need. 🍎🍯

Does it matter if you use apple juice or sauce for this recipe? It shows in ingredients list as a cup of apple juice but in instructions says apple sauce. Can either be used?
