How to Make Valentine’s Day Breakfast

Before you start assembling your Valentine’s Day breakfast board, wash your fruit and prepare your pancake batter. Having everything ready makes this breakfast quick, smooth, and stress-free — perfect for busy Valentine’s mornings.

This is less of a traditional recipe and more of a creative Valentine’s Day breakfast idea. You’ll use different breakfast items to form the letters L-O-V-E, then arrange them together into a fun breakfast board.

How to make Valentine’s Day Breakfast : a step by step guide

Create the “L”

Open the pack of mini chocolate muffins.

Arrange the muffins on a cutting board or serving tray in the shape of the letter L.

Make the “O” Apple

Slice the apple into rounds.

Using a small round cookie cutter, remove the center of one apple slice to create an O shape.

Spread Nutella around the apple ring.

Sprinkle with Valentine’s Day sprinkles.

Place the apple next to the muffin L.

Heart Waffle for the “V”

Prepare pancake mix according to package directions.

Lightly grease a heart-shaped waffle maker.

Pour batter into the waffle maker and cook until golden brown.

Place the heart-shaped waffle beneath the L to form the letter V.

Strawberry “E”

Wash strawberries and remove the tops.

Slice if needed.

Arrange strawberries underneath the apple O to form the letter E.

Step back and admire your Valentine’s Day breakfast board — it’s cute, creative, and full of love.

Valentine’s Day Breakfast: SIDE IDEA

This Valentine’s Day breakfast pairs perfectly with a Valentine’s Day Strawberry White Chocolate Iced Latte for the adults, or chocolate milk for the kids. The creamy white chocolate and strawberry flavors complement the fruit, muffins, and waffle beautifully and make the morning feel extra special without adding extra work.

Crazy Busy Mama Tip

Don’t stress about perfection. This Valentine’s Day breakfast for kids is about fun, not flawless letters. If you don’t have a heart waffle maker, use pancakes, toast, or even waffles cut into shapes. The love behind it matters most.
