Isn't funny how you go from being a “passenger princess” while you are dating to a “backseat butler” once you have babies and toddlers? Then once your children are grown road trips can be filled with wonderful conversation or singing along to your favorite songs.

Road trips are just another thing that changes as your children get older. You go from a potty break every hour, to making it the entire 4 hour trip without having to stop at all. And don't even get me started on when your grown children take the wheel and you ride shotgun. You will catch yourself thinking, ‘wasn't it just yesterday that I was putting you in a carseat for a roadtrip?' It truly goes by so fast.
When my oldest daughter Ella and I took Lily, my youngest, to camp this last week; our road trip was a mixture of both deep conversation and karaoke! We had a wonderful time with each other in the car, and we had made a delicious snack mix to take in the car.. and let me tell you! IT HIT THE SPOT! Before we knew it we were down to the crumbs, but luckily I had packed a second bag for the return trip. So we broke out the second bag and ate some more, making sure to save enough for Ella and I to have some on the way back home.
And of course you know we each had our Custom Crazy Busy Mama Stanley Quenchers to keep us hydrated along the way! If you haven't checked out our line of Stanley's, you don't want to miss them! They are each custom painted by a local artist, and they are absolutely adorable! So go take a look, I'd love to know which one is your favorite!
Okay so how did I make this yummy road trip Party Mix? Come to my kitchen and I'll show you!
