Ingredients

  • Hostess Cakes
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 12 oz chocolate melts
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  • Blend together in your KitchenAid or mixer cakes and softened cream cheese
  • Take blended ingredients together and roll into a ball. Making all the balls approximately the same size.
  • I like to a little bit of flour and put it on my hands as i am rolling them into balls so they don’t stick to hands.
  • Place balls without chocolate on them in freezer on sheet pan with parchment paper for about 5-7 mins
  • Melt chocolate in microwave checking every 30-45 seconds for it to not burn. Make sure you change the power to 50% this is so important for it not to burn
  • Dunk each cake ball into melting wafer I use a spoon but could use a toothpick too.
  • As you dunk them in chocolate, Place them on a lined with parchment paper sheet pan.
  • As chocolate is still wet, add sprinkles or toppings as desired over top of each one.
  • Place in freezer to set up for a minimum of 15 mins
  • Will make 15-16 cake pops depending on size
  • Store in fridge and take one out as you enjoy!
