Homemade Hummus is a cinch to make! Once you make your own, you will never buy store bought again! Not to mention, this Queso Hummus will quickly become a household favorite!

Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 15 ounce can chickpeas garbonzo, drained & rinsed
  • 1/4 cup Tahini
  • 1 clove garlic or more to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon salt or to taste
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cold water or more for desired consistency

Instructions
 

  • Drain & Rinse can of garbanzo beans
  • Dump all ingredients minus garnish into an immersion blender
  • Once blended add water to desired consistency
  • Then pour into a nice serving bowl
  • Garnish with:
  • Sprinkle of Paprika
  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Crumble Queso Fresco
  • And Red Pepper Flakes for a little kick
