Instructions
Prep the baking dish
Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or butter.
Slice the Hawaiian rolls
Keeping all the rolls connected, carefully slice the entire pack horizontally through the middle.
Place the connected bottom half of the rolls into the prepared baking dish.
Make the brown sugar butter
Melt 1 stick of butter. Add the brown sugar and stir until completely combined.
Layer the rolls
Pour about 75% of the brown sugar butter mixture evenly over the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls.
Place the connected tops of the rolls back on.
Spread the remaining brown sugar butter mixture evenly over the tops.
Bake
Bake at 350°F for approximately 20 minutes, or until the rolls are warm and golden and the brown sugar butter has caramelized.
Make the pumpkin cream cheese icing
While the rolls bake, combine the softened cream cheese, pumpkin purée, and a dash of cinnamon.
Mix until smooth and creamy.
Frost the rolls
As soon as the Hawaiian rolls come out of the oven, generously spread the pumpkin cream cheese icing over the warm rolls.
Serve
Pull apart and serve warm!
