Ingredients
  

  • Bacon Topping
  • 8 slices bacon cut into bite-size pieces
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 –2 Tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • 6 dates pitted and quartered
  • Cheese Base
  • 4 oz goat cheese softened
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 Tbsp honey
  • Honey Drizzle
  • cup honey
  • 1 Tbsp fresh rosemary chopped
  • Dash of cayenne pepper
  • To Serve
  • Fresh baguette slices or crackers

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Bacon
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread bacon pieces evenly.
  • Sprinkle with cayenne and rosemary, drizzle with honey, and scatter chopped dates on top.
  • Bake 12 minutes or until bacon is crispy, stirring halfway through.
  • Make the Cheese Base
  • Beat goat cheese, cream cheese, salt, and honey until smooth and fluffy.
  • Spread evenly into a 6x6 baking dish.
  • Mix the Honey Drizzle
  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, rosemary, and cayenne.
  • Assemble the Dip
  • Drizzle half the honey mixture over the cheese base.
  • Spoon bacon-date mixture on top.
  • Finish with the remaining honey drizzle.
  • Serve Warm
  • Pair with baguette slices or your favorite crackers and watch it disappear!
