Ingredients
  

  • 1 package frozen chocolate chip pancakes thawed completely
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • Cinnamon to taste
  • Chocolate chips for topping
  • Warm maple syrup for serving
  • Powdered sugar optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

Prepare the pancakes

  • Thaw the pancakes completely and cut each one in half.

Arrange the casserole

  • Stand the pancake halves upright in a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Make the custard

  • Whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, and cinnamon until well combined.

Pour & chill

  • Pour the custard evenly over the pancakes. Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours or overnight.

Bake

  • Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes, or until the custard is set and the pancakes are heated through.

Finish & serve

  • Top with chocolate chips, drizzle with warm maple syrup, and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
