Instructions
Cook the hash browns
Prepare the frozen hash browns in the air fryer or oven according to the package directions until golden brown and crispy.
Cool completely
Allow the hash browns to cool before mixing.
Make the dressing
In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
Combine
Add the cooled hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, and bacon bits. Gently fold until everything is evenly coated.

Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend together.
