Ingredients
  

  • 1 28–32 oz bag frozen shredded hash browns
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • 1 1 oz packet dry ranch seasoning mix
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag about 2½–3 oz real bacon bits

Instructions
 

Cook the hash browns

  • Prepare the frozen hash browns in the air fryer or oven according to the package directions until golden brown and crispy.

Cool completely

  • Allow the hash browns to cool before mixing.

Make the dressing

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.

Combine

  • Add the cooled hash browns, shredded cheddar cheese, and bacon bits. Gently fold until everything is evenly coated.

chill

  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors blend together.
