Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mini pretzels
  • 3 cups plain Cap’n Crunch cereal
  • 3 cups Cheerios
  • 1 cup red white & blue M&M’s
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 additional cup red white & blue M&M’s for topping
  • Optional: patriotic sprinkles

Instructions
 

Combine the dry ingredients

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine:
    Mini pretzels, Cap’n Crunch cereal, Cheerios, 1 cup red, white & blue M&M’s
  • Mix until evenly combined.

Melt the white chocolate

  • Place white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Microwave in 25-second intervals, stirring after each interval, until smooth and fully melted.

Coat the mixture

  • Pour the melted white chocolate over the cereal mixture.
  • Stir well until everything is evenly coated.

Spread and decorate

  • Spread the mixture onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Immediately sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of red, white & blue M&M’s over the top.
  • Add patriotic sprinkles if desired.

Let it set

  • Allow the snack mix to cool and harden for about 15 minutes.

Break and serve

  • Once set, break into bite-sized clusters and enjoy!
