Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 16 oz Coleslaw Mix I use tri-color & prefer to use 2 bags as they cook down
  • 2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup green onions sliced
  • 1 tbsp red pepper flakes *optional - this will add heat to the skillet meal

Instructions
 

  • brown up a pound of ground sausage in skillet over med-high heat
  • once sausage is cooked add coleslaw mix - I love to use two and if you do two you will want to incorporate about 8 ounces at a time and cook as you go so the coleslaw cooks down
  • once combined and low sodium soy sauce, garlic and ginger
  • mix all ingredients together and let cook up for about 3-5 mins
  • if you like heat a bit of red pepper flakes- but this is optional
  • then add sliced green onion to the top and let combine for a few mins
  • Serve in a bowl
