  • 1 box Halloween funfetti cake mix
  • 12 15 pitted dates
  • 1 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 2 3 tsp water
  • Red food gel
  • Brown food gel
  • ¾ cup butter
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 1 2 Tbsp cream
  • Brown food gel

Instructions
 

  • Bake cupcakes according to box. Cool.
  • Mix buttercream until fluffy. Swirl brown gel for marbled look. Pipe into bag.
  • Mix icing with water. Divide and color red + brown.
  • Fill dates with red icing.
  • Pipe frosting onto cupcakes, freeze 20 minutes upside down.
  • Top with dates. Pipe legs + antennas with brown icing.
  • Serve & enjoy the laughs!
