A Caramel Halloween Board is the quickest way to serve DIY caramel apples without the mess. Crisp red and green apple slices get dunked in creamy caramel, then rolled through rows of fun toppings (mini marshmallows, sprinkles, white chocolate morsels, and mini M&M’s). Add pretzels for dipping and you’ve got a sweet-and-salty platter that’s party-perfect and kid-approved.
1½cupscaramel apple dipplus extra for the board “smear” and dipping
½cupmini marshmallows
½cupsprinkles
½cupwhite chocolate morsels
½cupmini M&M’s
2cupspretzelstwists or rods for dipping
Instructions
Slice 3 green and 3 red apples. Place slices in a bowl of ice water (add lemon juice if using) for 5–8 minutes to slow browning.
Dry Thoroughly
Drain the apples. Lay slices on paper towels and pat completely dry so caramel and toppings stick.
On a large serving board or tray, smear a generous layer of caramel dip down the center (think a wide stripe).
Add Topping Rows
Create neat, colorful rows alongside the caramel:
Row 1: mini marshmallows
Row 2: sprinkles
Row 3: white chocolate morsels
Row 4: mini M&M’s
Fan the apple slices around the edges of the board. Fill remaining spaces with pretzels. Set out extra caramel in a small bowl for dipping, if desired.
