In slow cooker add chicken with ranch and sliced butter on top of chicken.
Add lid and let cook for 4-6 hours on low until chicken is an internal temperature of 165.

Easy dump and go slow cooker recipe that even the pickiest of eaters will enjoy. We are a family of 6, so I use 3-4 chicken breasts about 2 lbs. We usually split the chicken breasts. So if you are a family who loves for each person to have their own chicken breasts, then you will want to adjust the chicken portion and ingredients as necessary. I love this dinner with a side of broccoli. So if you don't want to cook the broccoli separate, you can put a bag of frozen broccoli ( or even fresh) in 30 minutes prior to serving. Just season with salt and pepper as desired or take some of the juice from the chicken and pour right on top.
