How to Grill Brat Burgers – Easy Step-by-Step Guide
Fire Up the Grill: Start by turning your grill to high heat and let it warm up for at least 10 minutes. I usually wait until the temperature hits around 400–450°F to get a good sear.
Lower the Heat: Once it’s nice and hot, dial the heat down to medium. This helps cook the burgers evenly without burning the outside.
Get the Patties Ready: Give the tops of your brat patties a quick mist of nonstick spray. This keeps them from sticking when you flip them onto the grill.
Grill Time: Place the patties spray-side down on the grates. Let them cook for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until they’re golden brown and cooked all the way through.
Toast the Buns: While the burgers finish up, toss the buns on the grill for a minute or two. Just enough to warm them up and get a light toast on the edges.
Serve and Savor: Take everything off the grill, pile on your favorite toppings, and dig into those juicy Brat Burgers!
